GUEST VIDEO REVIEW OF MOLOKINI CRATER + TURTLE TOWN SNORKEL TOUR

Person filming turtles underwater near Molokini Crater, text overlay about tour review.
This is a recent guest video review of our 3hr Molokini Crater + Turtle Town Snorkel Tour. This is our most popular tour as guests get to swim with the graceful green sea turtles at Turtle Town and then snorkel at the world-famous Molokini Crater. Both destinations offer clear waters and beautiful coral reefs that are home to 250+ marine species. Depending on the season, you may even spot whales, dolphins, manta rays or Hawaiian monk seals on the way.

Here is a transcript of the video:

Come with us on a snorkeling trip with Makena Coast Charters. We took their 7AM trip, so we went as the sun was rising. First, we went to Turtle Town, and we saw tons of turtles. It was so cool snorkeling at this reef. Everything was so pretty, and all the fish were swimming around us. It was the coolest thing ever.

The crew on the boat was awesome. They were making sure everybody had the right size and all the right equipment and explained how to use it. They also explained Hawaii’s rules regarding their turtles and their coral. And I know it doesn’t look like we’re really close to the turtles, but editing. And also a lot of the turtles were swimming towards us or you would turn around and there’s another one right next to you. We even saw this baby turtle, and he was the cutest turtle I’ve ever seen in my life.

Then our next stop on the snorkel tour was to the Molokini Crater. They’re giving us a bunch of history and cool facts about the crater, like how it was formed from a volcano and then half of it slid back to the ocean. And on top of the crater, it’s also a bird sanctuary. But at this reef, there was tons of fish. There are all different kinds with so many different colors, and the coral was just so cool to see in person and up close like that. Of course, they also explain that you cannot touch the coral.

Makena Coast Charters also provides you with lunch. So we got these nice sandwiches and these Hawaiian chips which are really good, along with drinks as well. This has been our favorite snorkeling trip that we’ve ever been on. It was super fun and very informative and we saw tons of sea life, like whales on the way back. So I would highly recommend booking with Makena Coast Charters.
