Molokini Enenu’i

Enenu‘i is located on the eastern point of Molokini Crater, closest to the island of Maui. Its sloping reef, colorful coral formations, and surrounding currents create a beautiful underwater environment where manta rays, reef sharks, and other marine life may occasionally be seen.

We do not offer diving at this location. Enenu‘i may occasionally be used as an alternative snorkeling site when weather, ocean conditions, and guest ability levels are appropriate.

All snorkeling locations are subject to weather and ocean conditions.

Located between Maui and Kaho’olawe, near the crater’s Eastern point, Molokini Enenu’i is a steep 60-foot slope of reef that contains beautiful antler coral and unique marine life. The clear ocean waters and abundance of fish make this the perfect destination for snorkeling. Similar to Molokini’s Reef’s End and Back Wall, this section of the crater allows our guests to swim amongst hundreds of creatures including: gray sharks, manta rays, and vibrant butterflyfish – like the yellow tang and ahi tuna.
